Zachary Joseph Groff, 35, of Port Orange, FL. lost his battle with addiction on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in Tampa, Fl.

He was born on August 29, 1990 in Jacksonville, FL.  Zachary's passion was music and playing the guitar.

In his spare time he enjoyed surfing and spending time at the beach with friends.

Zachary graduated from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange and received his AA from Daytona State College and then attended University North Florida in Jacksonville.

He is survived by his father Joseph (Diane) Groff; his half brother Max Gilbert; Step Sibling's Amy (Ryan) James and Chris (Chelsey) Wommack; Grandmother Nancy Cooper;

Preceded in death by his mother, Laura Gilbert.
