Yvonne Teitsworth, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, July 26th, 2021. She was 79. Yvonne was born April 6, 1942 in Warsaw, New York, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Waterhouse) Teitsworth.
In her youth, Yvonne attended Catholic school.  She earned her bachelor's degree in Binghamton, NY and went on to complete her advanced degree.  She ended her long career as a research librarian for New York state.
Yvonne had an adventurous and independent spirit.  In her retirement, she embarked on a solo RV journey that took her to all 50 states in the US, Canada and Mexico as well as extensive world travel that took her as far as Australia.  She was a passionate supporter of Habitat for Humanity and included helping to build houses in her travel plans.  She ended her travels in New Smyrna Beach, FL where she enjoyed the sunny weather and relaxed lifestyle.
She is from a family of ten children and is survived by two brothers William and Michael Teitsworth, a sister Marie Streb and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.  She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Yvonne had a particular interest in space and attended space camp in Ohio during her years of traveling.  According to her wishes, her remains will be launched into space.
