W. T. Miller 72 of MacClenny Florida formerly a 56 year resident of Ormond Beach passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday May 13 2009. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday May 21 2009 at 6:30 pm at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 South Beach Street Daytona Beach Fl. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. W.T. was born on May 9. 1937 in Columbus Ga. He was a plumber for G.W. Plumbing for 22 years before retiring. W.T. served with the Florida National Guard Battery "D" 265th Artillery for 27 years and was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 84. He is preceded in death by his son Robert Bubba Miller. W.T. is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara Sheppard Miller of MacClenny FL (former lifelong resident of Ormond Beach) daughter; Glenda Fontenot of Ormond Beach his son Dale Miller of Ormond Beach daughter Shirley Miller of Ormond Beach and daughter Crystal Gleason of MacClenny FL. Also surviving him are his two brothers and one sister Woody Ray and Meryl Miller of Florida. He has six grandchildren Steven Robert Melissa Dylan Rhyanna-Lyn and Amanda also three great-grandchildren Morgan Ryan and Chad.
