"Woody" James Woodford Smith, Jr., 72, of Ponce Inlet, Florida passed away Monday, August 11, 2025.  He was born on September 27, 1952 in Washington, D.C.  He had a long and rewarding career with John Hall Car Dealerships.  He worked his way to become the General Manager of John Hall Hyundai and made many friends throughout his career, always chatting with the boys! He enjoyed watching baseball games in St. Augustine, Mount Dora, and beyond.

Woody is survived by his wife, Carol Rosche; daughter, Kelly Shilling (husband, Steven Shilling); son, Brent Smith (wife, Jenny Smith); grandchildren, Skylar, Kennedy, and Michael; and other extended family and friends.

Services will be held privately at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.  Woody touched so many people in his life; he will be missed by all.
