Wladyslaw (Walter) Ozierski, 95, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in Daytona Beach, Florida.    He was born in Zalawiszcze, Poland, the only child of Atanazy and Janina Ozierski.    Upon the invasion of Poland in 1939, during World War II, he survived both Russian and German labor camps, where he remained to the end of the war, never seeing his family again.  Upon liberation, he joined the English occupation Army in Germany, 7th Regiment of the Royal Corps of Transport.   Upon discharge from the service, he immigrated to the United States in 1951 to Springfield, Massachusetts.   He worked as an aircraft inspector for Atlantic Machine and Tool Company (now Textron Corporation) of Newington, Connecticut for over twenty years.  He was instrumental in the establishment of the Polonia Society of Korona, Florida and was active in the early days of  the expansion of St. Mary's Church, Korona, Florida.   He is survived by his loving wife, Jane L. Ozierski; son, Edward and his wife, Nguyet anh; grandson, Joseph; son, Walter and his wife, Tatiana; and granddaughter, Anastassia.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, with viewing from 4 to 6 PM Thursday.    Funeral services will be held Friday, at 11 AM,  St. Mary's Church, Korona, Florida.
