Memorial Service for Winifred J. Schuchman 85 of Daytona Beach will be held on Saturday May 20th at 1100 am at Seabreeze United Church 501 N. Wild Olive Ave. Her family will receive friends from 1030 till time of service. Ms. Schuchman passed away Saturday at Florida Hospital Hospicecare. Born in Pittsburgh she has been a resident of this area since 1949. Winifred earned her BA from Maryland College for Women in 1949. She was the secretary for the manager of the Plaza Hotel for 30 years. Winifred was a member of Seabreeze United Church since 1951 and a member of their choir for over 50 years. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi social-cultural international sorority for more than 50 years. After retiring she was a volunteer at the Civic Music and Symphany Guild.
Daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Schuchman and sister of the late Dorothy McCoy Ms Schuchman is survived by her nieces Kathleen Berman of Laconia NH and Christiana McCoy of Daytona Beach 2 great nieces Laura and Julia Berman of NH. and many cousins.
