William "Willy the Cop" J. Cutrone of Daytona Beach formerly of Queens New York passed away on Sunday May 3 2010 just passed his 83rd birthday. A funeral service in his honor will be held Wednesday May 5 2010 at the Ormond Beach Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by and interment at Daytona Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday May 4 2010; 5-7:00pm. William was born in Queens New York NY to Frederico and Marie Rose Cutrone. He was a proud US Marine veteran of WWII dedicated his life as a Police officer for New York City's 110th precinct and was know by all as the "Mayor of Corona " He was a fun loving; jovial gentlemen who worked hard helped everyone and never met a stranger. He enjoyed singing and dancing the "rat pack " Italian pastries animals and being a "flatfoot." His parents and siblings; Jean Jim and Bunny Cutrone preceded him in death. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years; Lucille Cutrone a son William Cutrone a daughter Pamela Rose Cutrone two daughters by marriage; Kay (Peter) Mannerino and Patricia (Charley) Ingulli a brother; Nick (Dee) Cutrone 6 grandchildren; Darlene Garcia Peter Mannerino Theresa Gigliotti William Cutrone Francis Gollesby and Phillip Licauisi; 6 great grandchildren; Joseph Garcia Peter and Briana Mannerino and Thomas Joseph and Nichole Gigliotti and Bella Gollesby and several nieces and nephews.
