A Mass of Christian Burial for William "Bill" Terkanick 87 of Port Orange who passed away on Monday December 23 2008 will be held Tuesday December 30th at 8:30 am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Pinchock as celebrant. Bill was born in Yonkers NY the son of William and Mary Terkanick. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Before moving to Florida in 1990 from Yonkers New York Bill was a supervisor for the Ward-Leonard Electric Company in Mt. Vernon NY for 33 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Valerie Terkanick of Port Orange two daughters Donna Conners of Pompton Lakes NJ and Susan Taurisano of Yonkers NY and three grandsons Richard and William Conners and Christopher Taurisano Memorial Donations may be made to the Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 6800 Woodbriar trail Port Orange FL 32127 od the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital p.o.
