William H. Stephens Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday August 19 2010 at Hospice Care Center in Port Orange Florida. William was 88 years old born in Salisbury North Carolina on October 16 1922 son of William H. Stephens Sr. and Clara Pinson Stephens. Left to cherish his memories is loving wife Helen Stephens; his two sons Bud Stephens and his wife Holly of Ormond Beach FL; and Harold Stephens of Port Orange FL; his daughter Heidi Stephens; his two brothers Vann Stephens and his wife Joan of Ormond Beach FL; and Jay Stephens of Melbourne FL; his sister Betty Parker and her husband Bob of Atlanta GA; his 5 grandchildren Lindsay Stephens Nicolas Stephens Kevin Stephens and Jake Stephens of Ormond Beach FL; and Noah Johnson of Nashville TN; and his great-grandchild Jonathan Prentice. William is predeceased by his sister Dorothy George; and his brothers Glenn Stephens and Barton Stephens. A memorial service to honor William will be held by the immediate family to be announced at a later time.
