IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Dennis
Stacy
June 3, 1952 – October 28, 2024
William Dennis Stacy has peacefully journeyed to be with the Lord, our God, on 10/28/2024. Born the eldest son of 4 siblings, 06/03/1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his beloved wife of
28 years, Melanie Jo Stacy, his loving son, William Shane Stacy, dear brother Robert Stacy, adoring mother Flora Sue Stacy, and his dear father Corbett Estell Stacy.
The deceased is survived by daughter Terra Stacy, son Andrew Priest, daughter Peneloре Lane, sister Deborah Gulley, brother Joseph Stacy, grandson Isaiah Poku, granddaughter Gabriell Poku, grandson Kent Carey, and granddaughter Leela Lane. Also survived by great grandchildren, cousins, and dear friends.
Dennis, "Bill," lived a fulfilling life of pursuing an abundance of hobbies and interests. He was a proud American Veteran, after having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Most of his earlier years were lived in Kentucky, however, he then settled in Florida in 1994, following a trip to watch NASCAR at the Daytona International Speedway.
He was a successful entrepreneur in the medical field, after many years specializing in masonry. "Bill" also volunteered routinely for weekly security detail in the United Methodist Church of Ormond. He can be most remembered for being a proud American Veteran, Registered Nurse, an entrepreneur, and was well versed in
a variety of music. He passionately pursued a multitude of interests, and while not instructing CPR in our local
community, he could be found honing his skills as an avid golfer, billiards player, NASCAR fan, and building race cars in his home garage for Stacy Motorsports, to run at small town local racetrack.
His quick wit and sense of humor are greatly missed by his friends and family. May you rest in eternal, glorious peace.
William Dennis Stacy is lovingly laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg, Ohio.
