A Memorial service for William E. Sinclair age 80 of Pilgrim Place Daytona Beach FL will be held on Friday May 19 2006 at the Colonial Colony South Clubhouse 1275 Beville Road Daytona Beach FL. Reverend Mark Spivey Celebrant and John Webster from Alcoholics Anonymous will participate. The service is at 7:00 PM and the family will receive friends after between 8:00-9:00 PM. Mr. Sinclair left this earthly life to begin his new life with his heavenly Savior on May 12 2006 after a tremendously courageous and dignified battle with a lengthy illness. He passed away at the New Smyrna Hospice House in New Smyrna Beach FL. Born on January 17 1926 in Portage PA. He moved to North Olmstead Ohio at the age of 12. He enlisted in the US Marine Corp in June 1943 was in the First Division of WWII and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff-Sergeant in May 1946. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He retired from a professional career as Director of Environmental Services in Health Care in Cleveland Ohio and Ft. Lauderdale FL. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and TriC College. He taught hospitality management as an Associate Professor. Bill surrendered to the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous on February 18 1967 and was proud of his 39 years with them. He attended the Tri-State assembly every August at the Lake Chataqua Institution in Southwest NY. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Meadows Sinclair and 3 children from his former wife Dorothy O?Donnel; Son Dennis Michael Patricia Sinclair of Litchfield OH and daughters Susan John Berichon of Fairview Park OH and Eileen Tom Tanner of Solon OH. There are also 2 brothers; George Marlett of Opelika AL and Henry Marlett of Buffalo NY. Bill has 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
