William James Perretti III "Billy," age 36, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Daytona Beach, FL.

He was born in Ridgewood, NJ to William and Joan Perretti Jr. and was the eldest of two boys. It was not until Billy moved to Manhattan Beach, CA when he was 11 years old that he began to leave his real mark on life. He quickly established himself as one of the best surfers and skateboarders in the South Bay area. With that reputation he became immortal in so many peoples' hearts.

After graduating from Mira Costa High School, Billy attended the California Culinary Institute. In his later years, he found his new passion in life, asphalt. He would always say nothing felt better than dragging his knee at over 120mph on a sport bike.

Billy is survived by his parents and his younger brother Ben & will forever be remembered as man with a huge heart for so many people and as a role model to so many childhood friends that witnessed him shine when he would skate abandoned pools and charge the biggest waves. Ride in paradise, Billy.
