William (Bill) P. Phillips passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in Port Orange, Florida. He was born on November 15, 1932, 92 years old, born in San Mateo, FL to the late O.E. & Alva Phillips. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen and his grandson, Matthew.

Bill graduated from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1950. Then he went on to serve 3 years in the U.S. Navy. Bill graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in science for Electrical Engineering. He was employed with General Electric Company in Daytona Beach, Florida for 30 years. After retiring at the age of 57, he enjoyed refinishing furniture, canoeing, fishing, camping and taking care of his yard.

Survivors include his Wife of 69 years, Janet Phillips; Son, Craig Phillips; Daughter, Laurie Phillips; grandchildren, Brian (Joy) Phillips, Kelli (Aaron) Morton, Courtney Phillips, and Graham Phillips; and great-grandchildren, Kadence, Reese, Lydia, Brock, Thaddeus, and Brian, Jr.

In accordance with the deceased's wishes, the service will be private.
