William Osmun's Obituary
William Osmun, 85, of Deland, passed away, June 5, 2015. William was
born on November 16, 1929 in Hicksville, Ohio. He was the oldest son of eleven children.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather devoted to his family. William and Velma (Weisz) Osmun were married on March 10, 1951. He was a Retired Air Force Veteran and a member of the U.S. Air Force Association and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Velma (Weisz) Osmun; a daughter, Debra Wade, son-in-law; Aubrey Wade, daughter-in-law; Rena Osmun; four grandchildren: Angela Froehlich, Jennifer Abbott, Mary Amber Osmun, and Joshua Osmun; five great Grandchildren: Shaunah Abbott, Forest Froehlich, Bre Froehlich, Joseph Pezzuti, and Luke Patterson. William was predeceased by his son, Mark William Osmun in 2013; his parents, Cleatus and Mary (Scott) Osmun; and three brothers and one sister.
