Funeral services for William C. McCoy 80 of Daytona Beach who died Thursday June 30 2005 at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial will be 1 pm Wednesday July 6 in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial will be in Daytona Memorial Park. Mr. McCoy was born in Wilkinsburg PA and came to this area in 1951. In 1956 he opened a service station in Daytona Beach and later became involved in real estate. He served as mayor and city councilman of Daytona Beach Shores from 1969 to 1971 and from 1971 to 1973. Mr. McCoy proudly served his country during WW II in the Army. He is survived by his wife Judy Belton; a daughter Tami Fricke Carl of South Daytona; his dearest nephew Ronny McCoy Marcie; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
