William Gordon King 96 passed away peacefully on December 26 2012 at Life Care Center of Jacksonville.

A viewing will be held on Friday December 28th at 1:30PM at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach Florida 32114 followed immediately by burial at Daytona Memorial Park.

Bill was born in St. Louis Missouri on October 18 1916 and moved to Daytona Beach in 1939. He began his career with Florida Power and Light in 1946 and retired in 1978. He was District Office Manager and Division Representative for 32 years. Bill was active in the Daytona Beach Lions Club for many years serving as president in 1959-60.

Bill was preceded in death by Lucie Fain King his beloved wife of 68 years and his son William Fain King in 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter-in-law Mary Hamm King four grandchildren Karen Fowler Kendall King David King and Daniel King five great-grandchildren Max King Bryn Fowler Cameron King Emily King and William King and two sisters-in-law Libby Mattox of Ashland Alabama and Era Veal of Birmingham Alabama.
