William "Bill" J. Kelly age 83 of Ormond Beach passed away at home on Sunday February 19th 2012. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 29th 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. William "Bill" was born in Daytona Beach on March 10th 1928 to the late Dr. John J. Kelly and Lucy Ann Sampsel Kelly. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1946. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. William attended FSU and was recalled into the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company after 30 years "The Kid". He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Emma Ailiff Kelly; his parents; brothers John J. Kelly Jr. of Cleveland Ohio and Henry C. Kelly of Plant City Florida. He is survived by his children son Lawrence Kelly of Lake Butler daughters Nancy Purdy of Holly Hill and Sandra Brown of Alachua Florida; and Sister Rosemary Laudenslager of Deland Florida. William "Bill" will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
