Church Services for William L. ?Dell? Hamilton Jr. age 80 of Daytona Beach died on Friday April 21 2006 at Halifax Memorial Medical Center will be held Monday April 24 11:00AM at Daytona Christian Church 1135 6th Street Daytona Beach Florida with Pastor Dale Parrish officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00am-11:00am at the Church; Burial will follow in Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

William was born on March 26 1926 in Daytona Beach Florida to William and Jessie Hamilton. Graduated from Mainland High School. He served in the Navy during WWll in the South Pacific as an Electricians Mate 3rd Class. He received his Military Honorable discharge in 1946. He was married to his wife Sara April 3 1948. William worked as an electrician for 43 years from 1946 and retired in 1989. Mr. Hamilton was a member of Local 756 for the I.B.E.W. He was a member of the Daytona Christian Church where he was an Elder and Chairman of the Finance Committee and sang in the church choir. He sang in Church Choirs for 65 years.

He is survived by his wife Sara of 58 years One son; William L. Hamilton lll of Orlando FL. One Daughter; Ronda Randy Hamilton Drucker of Alexandria VA. 5 grandchildren; Kate Walsh John and Matt Hamilton Jaron and Morgan Drucker 2 Great Grandchildren James Gladney and Samantha Walsh 4 Sisters: Mary Jane Couch and Marion Sinnott Both of Daytona Beach Lois Bowden of Milledsville Ga Frances White of Palm Bay Fl.
