Obituary

Rev. William B. Hall, 95, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 22, 2019. He was born August 22, 1923 in Williamson, West Virginia to Joe & Trennie (Maynard) Hall. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII at the Battle of the Bulge invasion of Normandy, France and in Germany. He retired from Allied Chemicals Company and was an engineer for the Pennsylvania and Ohio railroad and later found his calling as a minister. He was a creative inventor, enjoyed beekeeping, built his own home, played the guitar, traveled, and enjoyed his quite time fishing. William is survived by his daughters, Deloris Senterfeit and Lucille Davidson as well as by his son, Larry Hall, all of Aiken, South Carolina, his sisters, Aldie Hickman and, Ida Mae Prichard, both of Ohio, Neva Jean Fluty of Indiana, and his brother Carter of Virginia. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Joey, Ronnie, Samantha, Collin, Melissa and CJ,  nine great-grandchildren, Setler, Gladen, Skyla, MaCade, Dalton, Mary, Alex, Nikki, Logan, and three great-great grandchildren, Kaylee, Zillian, Austyn, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his loving wife of 66 years, Gladys and a son, Jay, his sister Blanche Hinkle, four brothers, James, Charles, Fred and Homer. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26 th from 6-8 pm with services scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday April 27 th at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.
