Obituary

Funeral services for William M. Gunn age 80 of Daytona Beach who passed away August 16 2005 at Halifax Hospital will be held at 2 pm on Friday August 19 2005 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Bobbie Welch officiating. Calling hours are from 1-2 pm on Friday August
19 2005 at the Church.

William was born in East St. Louis Mo. on February 5 1925. Mr. Gunn served in the Army as a messenger during WW11 as a Sgt; he received the victory medal European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon Bronze battle star and the good conduct medal. He worked as a Corporate Pilot of General Motors in Detroit Michigan for 25 years retiring in 1985. William and His wife Jeannette moved to Daytona in 1994.

William served as a Deacon Sunday school teacher Department Director Teacher and Treasure in the First Baptist Church. He was in the Faith Ministry and loved his Lord.

Left to cherish his memories is a devoted wife of 59 years Jeannette M. Gunn of Daytona Beach two Sons William ?Billy? Gunn of Montclair Ca and Glenn Gunn of Hanover Park Illinois.
Granddaughter of Lori Gunn and Great-grandchildren of Britney Holly and Ashley.
