Funeral Service for William Watts Forehand Sr. age 75 who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday July 2nd at Halifax Medical Center will be Tuesday July 6th at 1:00pm at Ormond Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 12:00pm-1:00pm preceding the service.

Bill was born in Albany GA and moved to this area in 1982 from Jekyll Island GA. He was the owner and operator of 5 hotels and was very active in the Ramada Inn Corp. serving on the Governing Board of Directors. He built the first Ramada Inn East of the Mississippi River. He was an avid and accomplished golfer and was a member of the Atlantic Athletic Club and the Indigo Country Club. He and his wife also enjoyed traveling all over the world throughout their years together. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Philomena; his children William W. Forehand Jr. of Frenandian FL; Thomas B. Fraser of Dahlonega GA; Debi Fry of St. Simons GA; Hollie A. Forehand of Atlanta GA; Shannon M. Lokey of Brunswick GA; his 6 grandchildren; his brother Edgar P. Forehand Jr. and wife Ann of Summerville SC; his sisters-in-law Janis Belcher of Palm Beach Gardens FL; Deborah Morse of West Palm Beach FL; Rebecca Forehand of Dahlonega GA. Bill was preceded in death by his younger brother Lee R. Forehand.
