Dr. William H. Fink (Bill) , 77 of Ormond Beach, FL passed away July 27, 2022 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. He was born July 15, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA. Bill is survived by his sons Jason (Kristin) Fink of Harrisonburg, VA and Wesley (Wendy) Fink of St. Petersburg, FL, and his six grandchildren Elisabeth, Karinna, Joseph, Abigail, Hadley and Sydney. He was preceded in death by Carol, who was the love of his life to whom he was married 48 years, and by his parents Harry Fink and Ann (Keating) Fink.

Bill was Director of Exceptional Student Education for Volusia County schools. This was a position he loved most because he felt he could really help children and their families. He cared deeply for his colleagues and respected them for their hard work on behalf of others. Bill moved with his wife Carol to Volusia County in 1966 from Pittsburgh PA. He received his Bachelor's Degree from California University of Pennsylvania, and his Doctorate in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Florida State University. Bill was actively involved in the lives of his children, coaching their soccer teams and cheering them on when he wasn't. The cheering continued into the lives of his grandchildren. He was always deeply involved in his many hobbies through the years, from tennis to golf, bridge, scuba diving, and in the final years of his life, pickleball. He was an avid fan of Florida State University sports. The friendships he made throughout his life were a source of great joy for him. He had a positive impact on so many lives, he will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug 3, 2022 between the hours of 5-8pm. Visitation will take place at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 4th at 11:00am at St. Brendan Catholic Church; 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach. Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach.
