Obituary

William H. Fennell affectionately known as Pinto passed away on August 19 2011. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 30 2011 8:30am at Our Lady Of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange. Pinto was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on October 23 1929. He attended Sacred Heart School and La Plata High School in Maryland. He served in the Army during WW II and the Korean War. He was a Captain of the Charles County Rescue Squad; and owner of Fennell Plumbing & Heating until 1985 when he became Chief of Buildings and Trades for Charles County Maryland.

Pinto was preceded in death by his parents James A and Rosalie; brother James E. Fennell sister Roberta Garner and his son Michael. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Barbara (married on January 24 1953); sister Betty Garner brother-in-law Buddy Garner brother John (wife Ruth) sister Maudie Holt (husband Clint); children Billy (wife Mary) Bobby (wife Susie) Susan (husband Irwin) Mary Duckworth (husband Bill) and Chris; and extended family including 8 grandchildren (Timmy David TJ Katie Danny Jimmy Kristy and Ally) and 7 great grandchildren (April Michael TJ. Kendyl Karsyn Caden and Olivia).

Friends may make donations in Pinto's memory to Sandalwood Nursing Facility or Halifax Hospice. Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
