William F. Rodgers, age 85, quietly slipped away to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 22, 2021, during a brief stay at Advent Health in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Sylvia his wife of 64 years was by his side.

William, or Will, to his friends and family, was born on December 31, 1935, in Cahokia, Illinois and was a long time resident of O'Fallon, Illinois before making Port Orange, Florida his home in August 1994.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Eva Rodgers, brothers Robert and Andrew, and sister Janet Anderson.  He is survived by his spouse, Sylvia Jane Rodgers (Hukel) and numerous nieces and nephews.

William graduated from Cahokia High School in 1955 and when on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.  In June 1993 he retired from the Federal Center in St. Louis where he worked in Plans and Programs.  He was an active member of Horizon Church.

Due to Covid there will be no memorial service. There will be a small grave side service on Friday, February 26 ^th , for friends and family only. Those who wish may share condolences with the family here on our website.
