William P. Everson 71 of Edgewater Florida passed away May 8 2009. He was born on August 23 1937 in Westwood MA to Walter and Mary Everson. As a young child he delivered newspapers in his neighborhood which is how he met his wife of 47 years Jeanette. He later went on to serve our Country in the US Marines. After his term in the Marines he worked for many years as an offset press operator in the printing industry. In 2000 Bill and his wife moved to Naples Florida and in 2002 relocated to Edgewater. He was a member of VFW Post 2452 in Norwood MA however enjoyed spending time at the VFW in Port Orange as well as the Elks Club in New Smyrna. In his spare time he enjoyed yard work golf and fishing and could often be found repairing things around the home. Bill will be remembered as being a simple man with a good sense of humor who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Jeanette; sons Christopher Everson of Aspen CO William Everson Jr. of Wilmington NC Paul Everson of Miami FL and grandsons Justin and Anthony Everson of Boston MA. Bill was predeceased by his brothers Walter and Robert and sister Marian. Services will be held at a later date.
