William F. Eckstadt 84 of Daytona Beach Shores passed away Wednesday April 4 2012. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held Tuesday April 24 2012 at 11:00 am at St Mary's Episcopal Church 216 Orange Ave. Daytona Beach. William proudly served his country in the Army in WWII as part of the Occupation Forces. He started his family in New Jersey and owned and operated El Dorado Auto Body. William was a Champion Archer. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Halifax River Yacht Club. The love of his life Rosemarie Dolinka was his constant companion for 21 years. He had a passion for cooking. He and Rosemarie traveled and cruised the world. William will be remembered as a loving kind man who always maintained a positive attitude. He will be sadly missed by Rosemarie and his 8 children. He will also be missed by his 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
