Obituary

William A. Dreyer age 93 of Port Orange went home to be with our Lord on Friday November 19 2010. A viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday November 23 2010 5:00-8:00 pm and the funeral service in his honor will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 24 2010 both at the Port Orange Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes. Entombment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. William was born in Chicago IL to William B and Viola Dreyer. He dedicated 38 years as an Electrical Supervisor for Kelso Burnetle and was a devoted husband father grandfather and great grandfather. William was a proud and active member of Church of Christ Port Orange The Brotherhood of Electrical Workers the Lawn Lodge #815 AF&AM Chicago The Valley of Southern Illinois-Scottish Rite Belleville Ill Aniad Temple (Shrine) East St. Louis Local #134 I.B.E.W Chicago all in Illinois The New Smyrna Beach Shrine Club lifetime member and past officer of the Port Orange Elks # 2723 and a longtime member and 8 year Chief Ranger for the Independent order of Foresters. He found great joy going on cruises socializing traveling to Hawaii with his wife bowling bingo and spending time with his family.
His beloved wife of 70 years Lois Mae Dreyer (2009) and a daughter Donna Lee Fletcher (2007) preceded him in death and he leaves behind to cherish his memory two children Judith Ann (Mack) Higgins Port Orange FL and William A. (Carol) Dreyer; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
