William Francis Dooley, 95, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1928 in Paterson, New Jersey and served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. William resided in Wyckoff, New Jersey for 24 years after which time, he retired with his wife, Violet, to Palm Coast, Florida. Prior to starting his lifelong career with the phone company, he was a cabinet maker with a furniture manufacturing company. His career as a supervisor spanned nearly 30 years working for New Jersey Bell prior to retiring with AT&T. William was devoted to his faith and proudly served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast, Florida. He loved watching movies, gardening, and spending time with his family.
William is preceded in death by his loving wife, Violet Rose Dooley. He is survived by his son, Rory W. Dooley; son, Jeffrey Dooley (wife, Donna Dooley); son, Sean W. Dooley (wife, Nancy Dooley); grandson, Spencer Dooley; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Minnie Gutierrez (wife, Evelyn Guiterrez); grandson, Michael Minnie; and other extended family and friends.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 1PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, Florida 32164. Prior to Mass there will be a time of visiting beginning at 12PM at the Church. Placement in the columbarium will immediately follow Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Home Instead or Hospice.
