Obituary

William "Rooster" Cross 40 of Ormond by the Sea passed away suddenly on November 15 2009. He was born June 4 1969 in Bellaire Texas however lived most of his life in Slidell Louisiana where he called home. He obtained a license in cosmetology from The Academy of Creative Design in Louisiana however worked most of his life as an over-the-road truck driver and more recently as an iron worker in the commercial construction industry. In his spare time Rooster could be found playing golf or baseball in his yard with his adoring 4 year old son Will surf fishing or cooking the latest recipe from Chef Paula Deen. Rooster's favorite "hang out" was the Bernkastle Festhaus where he met his best friend and loving wife Angelica. His friends and family will remember him most for his wonderful sense of humor most notably his "one-liners" as well as his keen sense of intuition. He will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Angelica; son Will C. Cross; mother Doddy A. Cross; brothers Richie (Autumn) Cross Carl (Tiffany) Cross; aunt Jackie Hynes; in-laws Carlo and Sarah Colombi; niece Saje Green and nephews Khaymen Patrick and Jackson Cross. A memorial service will be held December 5th at Bicentennial Park Ormond by the Sea. A time will be announced.
