William (Bill) Cordes 72 of Port Orange passed away peacefully on Thursday Nov. 26, 2015. He was born on March 23, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, New York the son of the late William and Josephine Gelormino Cordes. He is survived and loved by his wife of 51 years the former Ginny (Ellis), a son Bill (Nicole) of CT, a daughter Susan (Joseph) Veleber of MN, a sister Cheryl (Michael) Olivieri of NY, and grandsons Tyler and Andrew Cordes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 1, at 8:30 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
