William (Bill) Howard Simpkins 57 of Ormond Beach FL passed away on Wednesday July 2 2008. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 8th 2008 at 2 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church Ormond Beach FL. A viewing is scheduled at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach FL on Monday July 7 from 6-8 pm. He is survived by his three children his daughters Sara (Simpkins) Sills 28 her husband Tripp Sills 28 of Ormond Beach FL and Sally Simpkins 26 of Baltimore MD; son William Matthew Simpkins 21 of Ormond Beach FL; sisters Brenda Damron of Forest Hills KY and Melinda Bailey of London KY; in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wildfong and family of Ormond Beach FL; He also had his first grandchild on the way this year. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Renie Grace Simpkins who passed away in 1989. Bill graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1979 receiving a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. His passions included attending functions/events supporting his children as they grew up playing soccer and baseball. He thoroughly enjoyed cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats sporting teams his favorite being football/basketball season. Bill was an all around great guy whose laugh and smile will be greatly missed by all that had the chance to speak with this special individual. We love you Bill. We will miss you.
