William R. Bayne
William (Billy) Robert Bayne, 57, of Oakland Park, FL passed away Mar 14, 2021. He was born on January 17, 1964 in Urbana, NY. He lived in Bath, NY prior to moving with his family to South Daytona, FL in 1974. In 2016 he moved to the Ft. Lauderdale area. He graduated from Spruce Creek High School, Port Orange, FL in 1982. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Billy worked for Target corporation for 29 years. He was a manager there and was known for his great work ethic. He was energetic, loved his work and it showed. His dedication to the Target guests, employees and the company itself made him many lifelong friends. Previous to that he worked for Ames and Zayre corporation.
He loved travel and recently toured Italy, went to Washington DC etc. Family vacations and reunions were a very important thing to him. He loved being healthy and fit. Friends could find him often working out and riding his bike. He took pride in maintaining a beautiful home. He was a history buff studied local history and toured many museums.
He was predeceased by his parents Frederick M. Bayne and Joyce E. (Campbell) Bayne. He is survived by siblings: Steve (Lynn) Bayne Horseheads NY; Sandra (Stephen) Bayne-Moore South Daytona, FL; Pam (Diane) Griffin Hornell, NY; Tom Bayne Hornell, NY; John (Roswell Franklin) Bayne Elmira, NY; Regina (Henry) Ferguson Horseheads, NY. Nieces and nephews David, Eric, Kerry, Henry, Timon, Shawn and Paul.
There will be a graveside service, officiated by Pastor Linda McDonald, a dear family member, on Thursday March 18 2021 at 2pm at Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach, FL.
