A memorial service for William K. Ballew 59 of Port Orange will be held on Friday at 3pm at Beacon Baptist Church 2315 Beville Rd officiated by his brother the Reverend Chuck Ballew. The family will receive friends from 2pm till time of service. William passed away Wednesday morning at the Hospice Care Center in Edgewater. Born in Greenville SC he moved to this area in 1991. An avid golfer he was a project manager for FABCO Metal Products in Daytona. William is survived by his two sons Derek and his wife Kirsten of St. Augustine and Josh of Orlando; his father Charles; his brother Charles Jr. and his wife Kathy all of Simpsonville SC; his sister Cheryl Foster and her husband Marvin of Fountain Inn SC. William is also survived by his grandson Landon Ballew; and two nephews Chad Foster and his wife Courtney and Tracy Ballew and his wife Laura. Services and interment will be held next week in his home town of Simpsonville SC. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice of Volusia Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
