William Joseph Allen passed away on October, 31st with his daughter Alexandra by his side. He was 79 years old, born June 3, 1944, in Jersey City, New Jersey to William Harold Allen and Catherine Allen.

He lived in Deltona, with his daughter Alexandra Allen, and his granddaughter Trinity Denekas.

William was a student at North Burgen High School and enlisted in the Marines at the age of 19. He proudly served his country though out his military career.

William was married to June Andrews for sixteen years and lived in Deland Florida. During that time, he was an engineer at General Electric in Daytona Beach Florida. He was a member of the Church of God and actively participated and ministered to church members, and youth groups to spread the word of God. He was a lover of football, New York Giants was his favorite team. He enjoyed fishing with family and friends. He later took up target practice and collecting firearms.

William was preceded in death by his parents and June Andrews, in June 2023.

He is survived by his three children, Alexandra Allen, Lisa Shellenbarger, and Scott Allen; and by his five grandchildren Hannah Taylor, Trinity Denekas, Justin, Dylan and Kaitlyn Shellenbarger.

A Public Visitation will be held on November, 10th from 11a-1p at Lohman Funeral Home Deland. A Funeral Service open to friends and family, will also be held at Lohman Funeral Home Deland, on November, 10th at 1:00 pm followed by Military Honors at Deland Memorial Garden Cemetery.
