Aug 28, 1972 — Mar 17, 2022
Orange City
Willard "Will" Elias Bryan III
Willard Elias Bryan III of Orange City, Florida, loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2022 at the age of 49.
Will was born on August 28, 1972, in Miami, Florida, the youngest of four siblings. He grew up in the Orange City/DeLand area, attending St. Peter's Catholic School and DeLand High School (class of 1990), where he made many life-long friendships. Will lived and worked in several of
our country's beautiful states, including Colorado where he found his joy: hiking and climbing in the mountains. Will is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine "Jo" Bryan, who is showering him with long-awaited hugs and kisses in Heaven. He is survived by his father Willard Elias Bryan, Jr.; his sister Jo Bryan Ahearn with his brother-in-law Skip, his nephew Joshua and his niece Madeline; his sister Mary Bryan Dunn with his brother-in-law Mark, his nephew Jacob Dunn, his niece Sydney Turner with his nephew-in-law Brandon and his great nephew Braxton; his brother
Chuck Bryan with his sister-in-law Yiselle Bryan and his nephew Dylan Bryan; his aunt and uncle Phyllis and Ray Bubel, and his cousins Sheri Younes, Ray Bubel, and Victor Bubel, and so many more family and friends whom he loved very much.
Will was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love of the Florida State Seminoles and the Dallas Cowboys. He always stayed active, especially with another of his joys: skateboarding. He was always there to lend a helping hand to others, and loved to spend time with his family
and friends. He loved nature and the great outdoors, and would work to save up money for trips to all the great U.S. national parks.
To honor his love of nature, Will's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 8:00am to 10:00am at Lake Beresford Park in DeLand, where attendees will be invited to walk a trail in his memory. Family and friends are also invited to continue to #walkwithwill
whenever they are hiking out in the great outdoors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Will's name to The National Park Foundation (www.nationalparks.org).
