William E. "Billy" Brunker age 61 of Daytona Beach Florida formerly of Cynthiana Kentucky passed away on Sunday November 27 2011.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held in his honor on Friday December 2 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Friends are welcome to gather from 6:00pm until the service at 7:00pm.
Billy was born in Cynthiana Kentucky on May 12 1950 to the late Edward D. and Anna Marie Lukins Brunker. Following High School Billy enlisted in the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed golfing with friends riding his motorcycle playing poker and spending time with his dog Dixie!
His positive outlook on life helped him endure the recent health struggles he faced. He never complained and bore his illness with great courage and strength.
Billy worked for Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery as Superintendant of the maintenance department for the past seven years. He was a dedicated employee working during chemotherapy and radiation treatment until he was no longer able. He shared a special bond with his crew and his presence among them will be deeply missed. We all at Lohman Funeral Homes will miss our "Billy Bones"!
Survivors include his daughter Stephanie Welch granddaughter Alishia Banks great grandchildren Nevaeh and Andrew fiance Debby Minor and dog Dixie.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach. Condolences for the family may be shared at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com
