Wilford F. "Bud" Morford age 82 of Port Orange passed away quietly in the company of his family on Tuesday July 14 2009. A funeral service in his honor will be held Tuesday July 21 2009; 11:00 am at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Military honors and interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Monday 7/20/09; 5-7 PM.

"Bud" was third generation Floridian born in Port Orange to William E. and Sara Cecelia Morford. He attended Mainland High school and Mary Carl Vocational College served his country as a WWII US Army Veteran and started a 60 year career with the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union Local 295. Mr. Morford and his wife dedicated and gifted over 20 years to the Daytona Little League Baseball Club - doing everything from coaching to announcing. He will best be remembered for his unparallel level of patience and his pursuit of perfection in everything he did. He lived by the need to "Make it Right!"

His beloved parents wife; Rose Nellie and two infant children preceded him in death. He leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons: Wilford Allen ( Sandy) Morford and Edwin Everett Morford 4 grandchildren; Kym Billy Bryan (Jessica) and Kori 3 great grandchildren; Bryson and Adalyn Morford and Kyla Cady and a sister Anita Christopher Eustis FL.
