Mary Carole "Wendy" Crandall 74 of Ormond Beach passed away Wednesday July 24 2013. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Robert A. "Bob" Crandall Jr.; two daughters: Cynthia (Richard) Greene of Raleigh NC and Cathy Masters of Orlando FL; four sons: Robert Crandall III of Staley NC Clayton Crandall of Cary NC Steven Crandall (Tammy) of Salisbury NC and Douglas (Susan) Crandall of Orlando FL; nine grandchildren: Caitlyn Greene Kristin Greene Ethan Crandall Amy (Scott) Jefts James (Jill) Masters Kelly (Danny) Torres Steven Crandall Katie Crandall and Chad Crandall; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Wendy was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Anne Dalrymple and her brother-in-law Rev. Jack Crandall. Wendy was a loving caring wife mother grandmother great-grandmother and friend. She was born in Chattanooga TN and lived in Orlando FL Miami FL Worthington OH Midlothian VA and had resided in Ormond Beach since 2011. Wendy was a graduate of Edgewater High School in Orlando where she was a cheerleader and very active in school plays and Orlando Little Theatre. She was Past President of the Orlando Jaycees Wives and a director of the Orlando Day Nursery. She was a former hospital volunteer and avid tennis player for many years until forced to retire due to injuries. Wendy was loved for her wonderful sense of humor and the ability to relate to others. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach. A private Memorial Service will be held by the family.
