Wayne Arthur
Lehman
Jul 10, 1955 — Jun 14, 2022
Wayne Arthur Lehman Sr.
1955-2022
Wayne Lehman Sr., aged 67, passed away unexpectedly in his house in Port Orange, Florida, in the early morning of June 14, 2022. Wayne was a man who touched many people's hearts. He was kind to everyone he met, and was always willing to help anybody, without expecting anything in return. Wayne began working at a very young age to provide for his family. Becoming a father at only 17 years old, he was determined to give his wife and son a good life. Throughout his lifetime, Wayne took on multiple jobs to support his family. In June 1996 he began working construction for Laborers' Local 596 until he retired in 2017.
Wayne was the third born out of eight kids. He was born on July 10, 1955 in Danbury, Connecticut, to Arthur C. Lehman and Anita L. Waterman. On November 18, 1972, at 17 years old, he married Frances Lehman. The two were together for almost 48 years, before her passing in October, 2020.
He leaves behind his son, Wayne Lehman Jr., his fiance Nicole Orcutt, and her two sons, Seann and Chad, of Templeton, Massachusetts; his two grandchildren, Gianna and Mason Lehman, and their mother, Melissa Tufaro, of Athol, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his siblings; Keith and his wife Anita Lehman of Port Orange, Florida; Gary and his wife Debbie Lehman of Leesburg, Florida; Gloria and her husband Shawn Fortini; Warren and his wife Lisa Lehman of Fort Pierce, Florida; and Darlene and her husband Buddy Redner of Hemet, California. Wayne also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Phyllis Hall of Port Orange; his brother-in-law, James Shephard of New Smyrna Beach; his best friend, Bob Monette of Port Orange; his fellow members of the Laborers Local 596; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by Frances, the love of his life; his mother, father, two sisters, and childhood best friend Craig.
Condolences for the family can be shared below on Wayne's Guestbook page.
