Wayne L. Kitchen 70 of Port Orange passed away at home on May 5 2009 with his loving wife and family by his side after a long courageous battle with cancer and it's complications. He was born April 7th 1939 in Troy Michigan and is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Alice Kitchen and Brothers Leonard and George. He is survived his loving wife Pam of 29 years 2 brothers Elmer "Bud" Kitchen (wife Jean) Joe Kitchen (wife Donna) sister Bernice Whitley children Lee Kitchen Kerry Davis (husband Don) Ann Miles (husband Mike) Rick Spreng(wife Kathy) Rob Spreng(wife Bridgette) 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and special friends Jerry and Brenda Swett Jane and Herb Bragdon and Bob and Mary Perry. Special thanks go to Dr. Hensgen for her wonderful caring support. Wayne was employed for 28 years as supervisor of operations at Bangor International Airport Bangor ME. After being a full- time RV'r for 9 years traveling the U.S. he retired in Port Orange Florida. He was employed their as a courier for 5 years for local businesses in the area.He was a member of Rising Virtue Masonic Lodge #10 and Anah Shrine both in Bangor ME. A celebration of life with a Masonic service will be held in Maine at a future date. Donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler in Wayne's memory.
