Warren "Monk" Schwarz 56 of Ormond Beach FL passed away April 18 2010 at his home. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 22nd from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. with services to be celebrated Friday April 23rd at 12:00 noon at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. Warren was born March 18 1954 in Ft. Monmouth NJ to Franklin and Mary Schwarz. He and his wife Tammy relocated to Ormond Beach in 1995 from Germany. He was a Co- Founder/Owner of Dixie Biker Illustrated where he served as editor and publisher he was also a former member of FAMB the VFW Post 4250 and the US Military Veterans Motorcycle Club most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Warren served his country and retired from the US Army. He is survived by his wife of 19 years Tammy "Boots" Schwarz Ormond Beach mother Mary P. Schwarz Ponce Inlet FL son Phillip A. Helms Ormond Beach daughters Machelle Hiller Ormond Beach and Jamie N. Franzini Port Orange brothers David Schwarz Orlando FL Brian Schwarz Limerick PA Gary Schwarz Lake Hopatcong NJ sisters Patty Vissers Dothan AL and Kathy Frankenberger Winter Park FL and 7 grandchildren. Monk was preceded in death by his father Franklin and a sister Terry.
