Warren Kenneth Joseph

January 18, 1927 - November 19, 2021

Warren Kenneth Joseph, 94, passed away on November 19, 2021.  He was born in Wooton, KY, and was a veteran of World War II who served in the Philippines and Okinawa.  He was a coal miner in Eastern Kentucky for several years before moving to South Daytona, where he lived for over 60 years.  Warren was a truss maker in Holly Hill for many years and also a movie projectionist.  He enjoyed listening to Anne Murray, going scuba diving, watching sports – especially University of KY basketball, and telling stories of his life and those he knew.  Warren was an original member of the United Presbyterian Church of Daytona.  He is predeceased by his wife Ailene and oldest son Ronald Kenneth.  Survivors include daughters Donna Knott (Joe) and Jennifer Baker; sons Eddie (Mary) and Mickey (Pat); 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  There are also numerous nieces and nephews.  Special thanks go to Kindred Hospice for the care given in the last five months.

A visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am, with a funeral service being held at 11 am, all in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.  Interment will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach.  A Reception will be held at Lohman Funeral Daytona immediately following the Chapel Funeral Service.
