Wanda Marie Kalb (nee Moes), 82, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025.  She was born on March 3, 1942 in Vermilion, Ohio.  She was a legal secretary during her working years, but enjoyed her family time and traveling with her husband, Bob. Some of her favorite destinations were Bermuda and Hawaii. She was a devoted mother, turning special moments into cherished memories. Being a farm girl from Ohio, in a town on Lake Erie, her favorite place to be was the beach, especially for sunsets!  She and Bob married in Vermilion, Ohio in April of 1962 at St. Mary's Catholic Church and honeymooned in Bermuda in May of 1962.  Eventually in 2000 they settled in Palm Coast, Florida to have days of warm sunshine and views of the ocean - in Wanda's words, "Paradise!"  Wanda was a talented seamstress, crafter, painter, a wonderful baker, and a fantastic cook - becoming adventurous and experimental with cooking in her later years.  She enjoyed watching true crime documentaries, playing solitaire, bridge, and mahjong.  She always welcomed new neighbors to the Woodhaven Community and started the Woodhaven Ladies Lunch Club to help keep people connected.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert H. Kalb; daughter, Lisa Schiske (husband, Ken Schiske); daughter, Marcia Kalb Brabbs; son Marc R. Kalb; son, Scott R. Kalb; brother, Russell G. Moes (wife, Colleen Moes); brother, David A. Moes (wife, Judi Moes); sister, Deborah C. Cass (husband, Barry Cass); ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and other extended family and friends with Special Mention of daughter-in-law Stella Kalb (nee Johnson, now deceased) and her daughter Lauren Trybus Hubbard.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, Dosch MacLeod.

Services will be held privately at a later date in Palm Coast Florida, her internment will be at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel Columbarium in Tonawanda, New York, outside of Buffalo.
