Wanda Royston Jefferson 68 of Port Orange Florida. Formerly of Sneedville TN lost her courageous battle with cancer Saturday August 4 2012. A Funeral will be held in her honor 4pm Wednesday August 8 2012 at Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave Port Orange with Pastor Sam Foley officiating . The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will take place in Tennessee.
Wanda was a very likeable person. She never met a person she did not like she lived life to the fullest laughing and always had something nice to say. "She was the most loving mother anyone could ever want" says her son Richard. When she lived in Tennessee she was a member of Cedar Flat Missionary Baptist Church and The Chapel of faith in Port Orange. Wanda is Preceded in death by her parents Fay and Virgia Green; Husbands Ralph Royston and Reece Jefferson; son Roger Dale Royston; Brother Ray Dean Green.
She is survived by her loving son Richard; sister Charlene Givens special step-grandson Burt Watson and family; sisters in law Sally Clood and Dolly Green. The family is grateful for all the excellent care Wanda had while she was ill. The people sent cards food and all the comfort that was given- Richard would like to say thank you.
