DOMURAD WANDA L. - Wanda L. Domurad 60 of Edgewater Florida passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband and family by her side on the evening of April 25th 2010. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday April 30th 2010 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Ave. with a visitation beginning an hour prior. Entombment will follow immediately at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens (3001 S. Ridgewood Ave. Edgewater FL.) Wanda was born in 1950 in Alderson West Virginia. She is the beautiful daughter of Eugene and Evelyn Eggleston. Dennis Domurad was blessed to take Wanda as his lovely caring and devoted wife on May 2nd 1971. They have shared an extraordinary life together just as she promised until she went home to be with the Lord her friends family and the scores of people she has nurtured and cared for during her 60 years with us.
Wanda was the matriarch of our family and provided the love and strength that cemented our family together through good times and bad. Wanda had a gentle loving and caring touch that would reach our hearts and make us feel so loved and special. If we failed to follow life's values and lessons that she taught us her loving hands could be strong and convincing as well.
Wanda had so much love and knowledge to share that she opened her home and life to care for all who entered. She cared for many over the years as the administrator and operator of Wanda's Adult Home Care. She never turned anyone away from her home no matter who you were or what skeleton's you harbored in your closet. There was always a meal on the stove for the hungry or a drink to overcome your thirst when you were graced with her presence. During the holidays there was an over-abundance of love food and gifts that she was instrumental in organizing and providing. Her daughters will have a monumental task to inherit in order to carry on the tradition.
Wanda has departed our company temporarily until we can take her hand in heaven. The Lord and scores of loved ones surely held a wonderful homecoming when she arrived.
Wanda is survived by her husband Dennis Domurad; mother Evelyn Eggleston; sisters Barbara McClung Letha Bowyer Paula Ridley and Karen Warren; son Randy Domurad; daughters Charlotte Auger Cynthia Ray and Tammy Young. She has 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Wanda was although family to so many that it would be impractical to try and recognize them all.
