Funeral Services for Wanda Marie Cornelius age 82 who passed away Tuesday July 13th in Ormond Beach FL will be held Friday July 16th at 7:00 pm at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home Ormond Beach FL. Her family will receive friends from 4pm until 7 pm proceeding to the service. Her final resting place and funeral services will be held at Kerr Funeral Home in Lexington KY. Mrs. Cornelius was born in West Liberty Kentucky. She and her family moved to this area five years ago and was a member of First Christian Church of Daytona Beach. She was a professional seamstress and loved to go on long walks. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Ernest Ernie of Ormond Beach; her daughter Delores and her husband Terry Braley of Ormond Beach and her son Gary Cornelius of Neenah WI; two grandchildren Dr. Jaima Hecomovich of Ft. Walton Beach FL; and Ms. Maile Cornelius of Neenah WI Brother James L. Peyton and his wife Vanetta of Lexington KY Her sisters Anita Ballenger of Ft Belvoir VA and Alice and her husband Clyde Simmons of Ormond Beach. Sisters in Law MnRovia Peyton of Orlando and Georgia Peyton of Lexington KY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Charles M. Peyton and Kenneth L. Peyton.
