Walter R. Weber 82 passed away November 11 2012. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Friday November 23 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach FL 32114. Walter's family will receive guests one hour prior to the time of service. Walter was a devote family man there wasn't anything that he would not do for his children grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he retired from FPL after 40 years of devoted service. For over 20 years Walter was a Guardian Ad Litam acting as a mediator for underprivileged children to the court systems. Bowling Orlando Magic and softball were some of Walter's passions but his greatest joy came from traveling with his late wife to family events and overseas. Walters was the beloved husband of the late Rita Weber for 51 years. Loving father of Linda (Bob) Downs Donna (Bill) Gregory Walter (Michelle) Weber and the late Mark (Rachel) Weber. Devoted grandfather of Justin Brandon Mark and Jessica Weber Robert (Pam) Downs Kimberly (Jody) Hatcher Nikki Miner Michele (Keith) Scruggs and Chris Miner. Caring great-grandfather of Spencer and Baxley Downs Landon Griffin and Linly Hatcher Cayden and McKenna Scruggs.
