Walter "Walt" Robert Smyser, 59 of South Daytona Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Halifax Hospital Daytona Beach. He was born April 14, 1960 in Paterson, New Jersey to Daniel and Judith (Stark) Smyser. Walt was an engineer with Holly Hill Waste Water Management, he honorably served 12 years in the United States Navy, where he gained his training to become an engineer in the water industry. He loved to cook, and created various meals for his family and friends to share. He also loved to bike ride and develop computer programs. Walt is survived by his loving wife Pamela Smyser of South Daytona, his sister, Saralia, brother-in-law, Gary, niece, Danielle and nephew, Jeremy, as well as his loving pets. He will be missed and remembered by all his friends and colleagues  for his many achievements. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Friday, February 21 ^st at 12:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 West Granada Blvd Ormond Beach.
