Walter Allen Remington, Sr., 93 years old, of Edgewater, Florida, passed away on October 20, 2021. He was born on October 8, 1928 in Bakersfield, Tennessee, outside of Chattanooga. Walter ("Al") was predeceased by his wonderful wife, Dorothy Louise Remington and his eldest son, Walter Allen Remington, Jr. Walter ("Al") Remington was the last living sibling of his family. He is survived by his sons, Michael Remington, Larry Remington, Jerry Remington and Carl Remington. Walter ("Al") proudly served and retired from the US Air Force after maximum service in the Air Force. Following his retirement he worked at the City of New Smyrna Beach. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 17, New Smyrna Beach, VFW 4250, New Smyrna Beach, and AmVets Post 2, Edgewater, Florida. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was one awesome man.

A visitation will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm with the Funeral Service at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.  Interment will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue.
