Palm Coast Florida
Walter Hoynash 85 of Palm Coast Florida died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday January 16 2010 at his residence with his family at his side.
Born Dec. 18 1924 in Newark New Jersey he was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Kascuchyl) Hoynast.
Mr. Hoynash was a quartz glassblower of scientific apparatus. He started his career at Hanovia Lamp in New Jersey and then moved to Lansdale Pennsylvania to work for Philco. He started his own business Hoynash Fused Quartz around 1960.
Mr. Hoynash was a merchant seaman in 1944 until Honorably Discharged. He was married to Sylvia Booth for 53 years until her passing in December 2000.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Obdulia Galvis Hoynash whom he married in May 2002. He has 4 children: David Hoynash (Illinois) Peter Hoynash (Pennsylvania) Beth Hoynash Nasielski (Maryland) and stepson Andres Arteaga Galvis (Bogot¡ Colombia). There are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Lohman Funeral Home 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast Florida on Saturday January 23 2010 at 1:00 p.m. and the service is at 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted graveside at Fort Ashby Cemetery West Virginia on Saturday January 30 2010.
